Fort Niagara

Old Fort Niagara dates back to the late 1600s when it was a French fort. In the mid-1700s, the British captured the fort. The newly formed United States claimed the fort in 1796. The fort was occupied by the US Army until the 1960s. Today, the fort is beautifully restored with many historical activities throughout the year.
